Community Guidelines
These guidelines explain what you agree to when you join our community, register for events, or participate in BTE spaces — online and in person.
- 1
Christ-centered conduct
Treat every member with respect, kindness, and honesty. We disagree without contempt and correct without shaming.
- 2
Integrity in learning and work
Do your own work. Credit collaborators. Do not share pirated software, steal credentials, or promote scams, get-rich-quick schemes, or misleading offers.
- 3
Safe communication
No harassment, hate speech, sexual content, or personal attacks. Keep chats and comments constructive. Leaders may mute or remove content that breaks this.
- 4
Event participation
Register with accurate details. Show up on time when you can. If you cannot attend a reserved session, cancel or message us so someone else can take the spot.
- 5
Privacy and consent
Do not share other members’ personal information without permission. Screenshots of private chats should not be posted publicly.
- 6
Faith and inclusion
BTE is a Christian technology community. Guests of other backgrounds are welcome to learn with us; we ask everyone to respect our faith context and not use spaces to attack it.
- 7
No spam or solicitation
Do not mass-DM promotions, multi-level marketing pitches, or unsolicited fundraising. Partnership and sponsorship inquiries go through official contact channels.
- 8
Accountability
Breaking these guidelines may result in a warning, removal from an event, or removal from community channels. Serious or repeated abuse will not be tolerated.
